From here he went to a small local engineering company and finally set up the practice, starting from scratch with one client in October 1976 Outside Work: Duncan would argue that his main area of expertise is breaking yachts. He is the proud owner of a much repaired, and little sailed, catamaran.

He previously trained with Price Waterhouse Liverpool and qualified in 1984 . He left them in 1986 and followed this with continued professional practice in the North West of England. Outside Work: Chris is a self confessed "petrol head". He alleges that his love of the internal combustion engine takes all of his spare time, money and energies.

As an accomplished speaker and writer his access to appropriate external data and expertise is highly regarded. Over the years, Martin has earned an enviable personal reputation for his unique capacity to "think outside the envelope" and provide unusual, but eminently realistic, solutions to all manner of business situations. He is a regular speaker at various business and entrepreneurial seminars and has been a regular columnist on business development in the I.T. trade press. Outside Work: Martin has at last admitted to being a frustrated thespian who will “tread the boards” at every opportunity. Apparently his Panto Dame has to be seen to be believed! Elaine Blair Telephone: 0151 336 7375 Email: elaineblair@boxwell.co.uk Position: Director Experience & Specialisms: As our resident tax expert Elaine’s vast experience ensures that everyone is fully aware of their legislative and compliance responsibilities. At the same time she ensures that all clients are presented with every opportunity to minimise their overall tax liabilities. Outside Work: Elaine says that when she’s allowed time off from being Mum’s taxi for her ever growing family, she really enjoys working out the gym!

As she says "Some of our current clients are children of clients we had back then!" Outside Work: Margaret's gruesome hobby (when she has time) is reading about murders! She has read most home office pathologist autobiographies and knows about every murderer/mass murderer dating back to the 1800's.

Sue joined the company in 1994 as an accounting assistant and has progressed through the ranks to her current position of client manager. Outside work: As the leader of a Scout Troop in Eastham, Sue has little further spare time. However she also enjoys weekends away camping and summer evening sailing on West Kirby lake.
